Job summary

WorkFocus Australia is seeking a Rehabilitation Consultant - OHS Essentials to join our Melbourne team on a full-time basis. You will deliver workplace rehabilitation services, support clients to regain independence, and work within a multi-disciplinary allied health team to improve health and work outcomes.

You will assess RTW barriers, liaise with stakeholders, and design programs that help employees return to work, with flexible scheduling across community, home, and office settings.

Qualifications

• Australian recognised degree qualification and full Accreditation in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, or Physiotherapy.
• Knowledge of OHS (Certificate IV in Workplace Health & Safety is highly desirable).
• Willingness to travel; a current vehicle and driver’s licence is required.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to high levels of customer service.
• Punctuality and time management abilities.

As a Rehabilitation Consultant - OHS Essentials you will play a vital role in the provision of workplace rehabilitation services to help build better lives through work and health. As part of the team you’ll support people to get well and working

As a valued team member, your responsibilities will include:

• Identifying Return to Work (RTW) barriers
• Undertaking worksite, functional, OHS assessments
• Liaising with clients, insurers, medical practitioners and employers to achieve outcomes appropriate for all parties
• Designing, implementing and monitoring programs that assist injured employees to return to the workforce

Qualifications

What you’ll bring to the role

• Australian recognised degree qualification and full Accreditation in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, or Physiotherapy
• Knowledge of OHS (Certificate IV in Workplace Health & Safety is highly desirable)
• Willingness to travel (A current vehicle and drivers licence is required)
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Determination to consistently provide a high level of customer service
• A keen sense of punctuality and the effective ability to manage your time
