MedHealth Group is seeking a Rehabilitation Consultant (Occupational Therapist) to join our nationwide team in Australia. The role focuses on delivering patient-centred rehabilitation, work capacity planning, and comprehensive assessments across home, community and workplace settings.

Formación

• Australian recognised degree in Occupational Therapy.
• AHPRA registration or eligibility.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsabilidades

• Undertake OT assessments of activities of daily living, home, worksite, ergonomic and equipment needs.
• Develop and implement rehabilitation plans.
• Design interventions to improve functional performance and work capacity.
• Identify barriers and monitor programs to maximise work participation.
• Understand funding schemes and empower clients to achieve wellness and recovery goals.
• Liaise with clients, families, funding bodies, medical practitioners, employers and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.

How you’ll be making an impact in people’s lives:

• Undertaking Occupational Therapy assessments including activities of daily living, home, worksite, functional, ergonomic, equipment assessments
• Undertaking assessments to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans
• Designing and implementing intervention programmesusing occupation to improve functional performance, independence and work capacity
• Identifying barriers and designing, implementing and monitoringprograms that support people to achieve maximal work participation
• Understanding a variety of healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes and empowering your clients to achieve their wellness and recovery goals
• Liaisingwith clients, family members, funding bodies, medical practitioners, employersand stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Australian recognised degree qualification in Occupational Therapy and AHPRA accreditation
• Willingness to learn and impact positively on people’s lives in tangible ways
• The ability to engage clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey
• A commitment to a high level of customer service to your clients and customers
• Willingness to work in the community (must have drivers licence and access to own vehicle)
• Current or able to get a Working with Children Check and Police Clearance
