Job summary

Intuitive Recruitment is seeking a Senior Regulatory Reporting Analyst for a leading financial services institution in the Sydney CBD. You will own regulatory reporting, financial control and system uplift within the control division, strengthening accuracy and governance while partnering with business leaders.

You will act as 2IC, applying strong APRA, statutory and AASB knowledge, with a clear focus on process improvement and reporting accuracy.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience in financial accounting, regulatory reporting or audit within financial services, ASX-listed environments.
• Strong understanding of technical accounting, AASB standards and prudential reporting.
• Experience auditing or reporting for large ASX-listed or financial services organisations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Interest in process improvement, systems uplift and reporting accuracy.
• Self-starter who works well in a collaborative team

Responsibilities

• Regulatory Reporting (APRA): prepare, review and uplift prudential/statistical returns.

Our client, a prominent and fast‑growing financial services institution based in the Sydney CBD, is seeking a Senior Regulatory Reporting Analyst to take ownership of regulatory reporting, financial control, and ongoing system uplift across their control division.

This role plays a key part in strengthening reporting accuracy, enhancing controls, and driving continuous improvement across finance and risk.

You will act as the primary point of contact for key internal and external stakeholders, bringing strong APRA, statutory and AASB knowledge, and the confidence to partner closely with business leaders while supporting the team as 2IC. This position is ideal for a Senior Financial Accountant ready to step into an Assistant Manager‑level role with a clear regulatory and systems‑uplift focus.

Key Responsibilities

• Regulatory Reporting (APRA) — preparation, review and uplift of prudential and statistical returns.
• Financial Statements & Consolidations — preparation of financial statements, review of accounts, and group consolidation.
