Job summary

The Victorian Department of Health in Melbourne is seeking a Principal Project Officer, Performance and Capability to lead performance and capability initiatives for the Health Regulator, overseeing data systems and process improvements that support evidence-based decision making.

You will cultivate relationships with regulatory, reform and policy teams to drive strategic business improvements and ensure alignment with health system objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience using data and business intelligence to support evidence-based and risk-based decision-making.
• Experience in a regulatory environment and/or knowledge of the Victorian health system would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead performance and capability projects for the Health Regulator, including data systems and process improvement initiatives.
• Develop reporting frameworks, report design and production, and capability development activities.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders across regulatory, reform, and policy areas.
