Job summary

The State of Victoria seeks a Principal Project Officer, Performance and Capability to lead performance and capability initiatives for the Health Regulator. You will manage data systems, design reporting frameworks, and drive business improvements while engaging with stakeholders across regulatory and policy areas.

You will bring a tertiary qualification in a relevant field and experience in data analytics, BI, and regulatory settings to support evidence-based decisions and healthier outcomes

Qualifications

• Experience using data and business intelligence to support evidence-based and risk-based decision-making.
• Experience in a regulatory environment and/or knowledge of the Victorian health system would be advantageous.
• Tertiary qualification in information management, business analysis, information systems, data analytics, public policy, project management, regulatory practice or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead performance and capability projects for the Health Regulator, including data systems and process improvements.
• Develop and implement reporting frameworks, designs and production of reports.
• Oversee capability development activities and strategic business improvement initiatives.
• Maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders across regulatory teams and policy areas.
