Job summary

Macquarie Group in Australia is seeking an Associate Manager/Senior Analyst for Regulatory Interactions within Banking and Financial Services. You will coordinate regulatory engagements, manage information requests, notices and reviews, and prepare briefing materials and submissions for regulators.

The role focuses on monitoring regulatory developments, identifying risks, and building strong relationships with stakeholders across the division while supporting governance and reporting dashboards

Qualifications

• A working understanding of regulations and regulatory principles in Retail Financial Services.
• Experience in Risk Management, Compliance, Data and AI, Legal, or Technology is desirable.
• Strong communication and relationship management with diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to prioritise tasks, work under pressure and adapt to regulatory changes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate regulatory engagements and information requests with regulators.
• Prepare briefing materials, status reports and submissions for regulators.
• Analyse information to identify emerging risks, issues and trends and escalate where appropriate.
• Maintain reporting dashboards providing senior stakeholders visibility of material regulatory interactions.
