Job summary

Employal Recruitment is seeking reliable and hardworking Operators to join a leading manufacturer of pipes and fittings. This is a physically demanding, hands-on role within a busy production environment, involving the collection, sorting and processing of recyclable plastic materials, breaking down pipe offcuts for regrinding, and possible forklift operation.

The successful candidate will be safety-focused, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Valid LF Forklift Licence (desirable, not essential).
• Australian Driver's Licence.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse or industrial environment.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Pass a medical assessment, including Drug and Alcohol testing.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Cutting, washing, and stacking HDPE pipes to yard standards.
• Debagging raw materials from bulk bags into silos through manual handling.
• Operating a forklift within the warehouse and debagging area.
• Inspecting recycled materials for contamination and reporting any concerns.
• Loading and unloading trucks and moving materials throughout the site.
• Inspecting recycled materials for contamination and reporting any concerns.
• Operating recycling equipment and assisting with production processes.
• Using hand and power tools, including chainsaws, as required.
• Performing general warehouse duties, stock movement, and housekeeping.
