This is a Recruitment for Fixed Term Full Time appointments for 12 months with the possibility of extension(s).

Appointments for this position will not commence until 2027.

Salary: TMA Year 1-7 $135,085 - $188,817 p.a. (plus 12% superannuation and professional development allowance) (effective from 3 September 2026).

Position Profile:

The Medical Administration Trainee Registrar serves a unique position within the Child & Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) and provides valuable insight into both the framework and workings of a metropolitan teaching hospital. This position works with the CAHS Executive Director Medical Services & the Director Medical Services to deliver professional leadership, support, and direction in relation to strategic and operational projects as required, with a specific focus on medical administration responsibilities. This role would continue in or progress towards a supervised training program in medical administration as a trainee with the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators (RACMA).

Area Profile:

Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) treats children from around Western Australia, and is committed to programs that promote lifelong health in children and adolescents. CAHS is made up of Neonatology, Community Health, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services and Perth Children’s Hospital.
