MedRecruit Limited is seeking a locum Registrar in Emergency Medicine (ED) to cover shifts in Broken Hill, NSW, Australia. The role offers an hourly rate of AU$160 and includes travel and accommodation.

The placement runs from 29 October to 1 November 2026, with a focus on high-quality acute care in a 98-bed regional hospital. Applicants must hold current AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner and be prepared to join a multi-disciplinary team serving the NSW outback.

Located in a classic outback town with heaps of personality, this 98-bed hospital is a major referal centre for the region. It provides a range of inpatient and outpatient services including caner care, gynaecology, mental health and general medical and surgical services.

The recent $30-million upgrades and redevelopments have been completed, with an upgraded oncology unit and ambulatory wing reconfiguration. A Royal Flying Doctors Base is also located nearby.
