Queensland Department of Education seeks an experienced Registered Training Organisation Manager for Yarrabilba State Secondary College. The role partners with the Deputy Principal (Senior Schooling) to oversee RTO operations and compliance with QCAA requirements.

Ideal candidate holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and can deliver and assess VET programs with students. Prior RTO management and TAS strategy development are highly desirable.

• Experience in RTO management and developing Training and Assessment Strategies.
• Ability to deliver and assess VET programs with students.

• Lead and support RTO staff PD and ensure compliance with RTO standards.

Your opportunity:

The successful candidate will work with the Deputy Principal (Senior Schooling) to manage the operational and compliance requirements of the Yarrabilba State Secondary College RTO through QCAA.

The successful candidate must hold a current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and be able to deliver and assess VET programs directly with students. Experience in RTO management and developing or sourcing appropriate Training and Assessment Strategies/Schedules is highly desirable.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead the planning, delivery and continuous improvement of vocational education and training programs in line with school policies and operational objectives.
• Develop training delivery solutions that meet government and industry requirements, including the Australian VET system, National Skills Framework, training packages, AQF and VQF.
• Support the Principal with educational matters and build partnerships with business, community, higher education and industry organisations to ensure programs meet departmental, school and community needs.
• Lead and support professional development for RTO staff, and oversee documented policies, procedures, assessment materials and tools to ensure compliance with relevant RTO standards.
• Manage program finances, including monitoring financial performance and maximising revenue opportunities, and contribute to written submissions for external funding as required.
