Steps2Life Health invites a Registered Psychologist to join our NSW network, offering one day a week at North Parramatta and one day a week at Regents Park. Our mission centers on neurodiversity, inclusive care, and holistic allied health services.

Qualifications

• Current APHRA registration as a Psychologist.
• Working with Children Check.
• Experience working with diverse client populations.
• NSW Driver's Licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to clients' needs.
• Provide individual and group therapy for anxiety, depression, trauma, and interpersonal difficulties.
• Collaborate with clients to set therapeutic goals and empower self-awareness.
• Administer and interpret psychological tests to inform diagnostics and treatment decisions.
• Maintain accurate, confidential records in line with ethical and legal standards.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic patient care.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

• Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate clients' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning.

• Providing individual and group therapy sessions to address a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and interpersonal difficulties.
• Collaborating with clients to set and achieve therapeutic goals, fostering empowerment and self-awareness.
• Administering and interpreting psychological tests and assessments to inform diagnostic and treatment decisions.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential client records, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate holistic patient care.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Current APHRA registration as a Psychologist.
• Working with Children Check.
