Job summary

PeopleSense by Altius in Darwin is seeking a psychologist to deliver a mix of therapeutic, assessment, and workplace-focused services across a varied caseload. Based in our Darwin office with flexible hybrid options, you will work across adults, adolescents, and organisational settings.

You will be supported with supervision, ongoing professional development, and a wellbeing program as part of a diverse and ethical team dedicated to evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

  • Registered psychologist with AHPRA and full or provisional status.
  • Passionate about delivering high-quality therapeutic services.
  • Full Australian working rights.
  • Ability to obtain a national police check.
  • Current driver's license and comprehensively insured vehicle.

Responsibilities

Your new role

Based in our Darwin office (with flexible hybrid options), you’ll deliver a mix of therapeutic, assessment, and workplace-focused psychological services across a varied and engaging caseload.

You may work across:

  • Therapy and counselling with adults, adolescents, children and couples (EAP, private, and Medicare-rebated clients)
  • Workplace support and critical incident response, providing in-the-moment care for organisations and their people
  • Injury and compensation work, supporting clients with trauma, adjustment, pain, and recovery following injury
  • Psychological assessments to inform treatment and workplace outcomes
  • Multidisciplinary collaboration, working alongside rehabilitation consultants and allied health professionals
  • Tailored projects and programs to address specific organisational and client needs

With the ability to gradually expand the breadth of services delivered, determined by clinician experience and with high levels of support available, you can enjoy a diverse caseload or tailor your work toward areas of interest and expertise, with flexibility to balance short-term and longer-term client work.

About you
  • Psychologist with full or Provisional AHPRA (Australia Health Practitioner Regulation Agency)
  • Passionate about helping others and providing high quality therapeutic services
