Job summary

Uniting AgeWell is seeking Registered Nurses to join a talent pool across Victorian sites. The role emphasizes delivering high-quality nursing care to residents, supporting families, and respecting cultural needs.

Candidates should hold AHPRA registration and have or be able to obtain necessary clearances and vaccinations. We welcome those with residential aged care or home care experience, and a commitment to our BEST values.

Qualifications

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse Div 1.
• Experience in residential aged care or home care is preferred.
• Vaccinations up to date including flu.
• Ability to obtain police clearance and NDIS checks.
• Strong nursing skills with cultural sensitivity and family support.
• Experience with dementia and palliative care is desirable.
• Excellent decision making, analysis and on-the-spot problem solving.

What are we looking for?

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse Div 1
• Current VictorianWorking With Children Check (Employee version)
• Current and ongoing flu vaccinations
• Ability to pass a national police clearance / NDIS clearance
• Deliver high quality nursing skills to residents and support their families, with consideration for cultural, spiritual and individual needs
• Experienced as a registered nurse in residential aged care/ home care (preferred)
• Experienced with dementia care and palliative care support (desired)
• Proficiency in decision making, critical analysis and on the spot problem solving
• Demonstrated abilities to delegate and prioritise in a fast paced environment with exemplary communication skills in a team and one on one interactions
• Thrive in a team and also appreciate the one to one interactions
