  • Care for patients across Close Observation Unit to monitor deterioration and manage non-invasive ventilation and inotropes.
  • Provide care in Emergency Department across triage, assessment, resuscitation and critical care.
  • Support General Medical Unit with diverse patient needs and orientation.
  • Contribute to Surgical Ward care for chirurgic and medical patients; assist perioperative teams in Theatre/Day Surgery.

Close Observation Unit


Our five-bed Close Observation Unit provides a supportive and collaborative environment. Nurses care for patients requiring a higher level of monitoring and support, including non-invasive ventilation such as BiPAP and High Flow Nasal Prongs, inotropes and short-term mechanical ventilation. This is an excellent opportunity to develop advanced assessment and clinical decision-making skills, recognise and respond to clinical deterioration, and gain experience managing complex patients in a fast-paced environment.


Emergency Department


Our Emergency Department provides care to patients across all ages and a wide range of presentations, from minor injuries and illnesses through to complex and critically unwell patients. You'll have the opportunity to develop skills across triage, assessment, resuscitation, acute and critical care, wound management and the management of deteriorating patients, while building your clinical judgement and prioritisation skills within a supportive rural team.


General Medical Unit


Our 32-bed General Medical Unit cares for a diverse range of medical patients with varying levels of acuity and complexity. The variety of presentations provides excellent opportunities to develop your clinical skills, build confidence and broaden your nursing experience. You'll be supported by experienced staff within a strong culture of teamwork, learning and professional development, with comprehensive orientation to help you settle into the team.


Surgical Ward


Our Surgical Ward provides care to a diverse mix of surgical and medical patients in a busy and collaborative environment. With a strong focus on teamwork, support and learning, you'll have the opportunity to broaden your clinical experience and build confidence while working alongside experienced nursing staff.


Theatre and Day Surgery Unit


Our Operating Theatre, Recovery and Day Surgery teams provide a supportive and patient-focused environment where nurses can develop a broad range of perioperative skills. Opportunities are available across Scrub, Scout, Anaesthetics, Recovery and Day Surgery, providing exposure to different surgical specialties and the full patient journey from admission through to discharge.


New To Emergency Nursing? (Sponsorship is NOT available for Transition entry)


Our transition to Emergency Nursing Pathway is designed for Registered Nurses with acute care experience who are ready to take the next step into a career in Emergency Nursing. Through a structured and supportive program, you'll develop the confidence, skills and clinical capability needed to thrive in a busy Emergency Department, while working alongside experienced emergency clinicians.

  • Based on a minimum 18-month commitment to the position or the agreed duration of your contract. All payments to part-time and contract employees will be made on a pro-rata basis in accordance with the terms of your contract, including any approved extensions.
