Job summary

Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) is seeking Registered Nurses to join the Rehabilitation Nursing Team, working within a multidisciplinary environment to lead and deliver high‑quality rehabilitation care.

The role focuses on optimising independence and facilitating recovery so patients can return home as soon as possible within the Thomas Hogan Rehabilitation Centre.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a nurse with AHPRA.
• Experience in rehabilitation nursing is advantageous.
• Ability to lead and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver rehabilitation care within a multidisciplinary team.
• Support patient recovery and independence to enable return home.
• Contribute to evaluation and management at the Thomas Hogan Rehabilitation Centre.

Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) is the major health provider in the Central Hume region with an extensive range of acute, sub-acute, aged care and community services.

NHW's Thomas Hogan Rehabilitation Centre runs comprehensive rehabilitation and Geriatric Evaluation and Management specialised services, focusing on optimising peoples independence in daily activities following a change in function as a result of disability or medical condition.

NHW are seeking Registered Nurses to join the Rehabilitation Nursing Team, working within a multidisciplinary team environment to lead and deliver excellent rehabilitation care, enhancing recovery so that patients can return home as soon as possible.
