Job summary

NSW Health at Westmead is seeking a Registered Nurse for temporary full-time maternity leave relief. The role supports Sydney Children's Hospital Network in delivering safe, person-centred care to patients and families.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, demonstrate NSW Health CORE values, and provide high-standard nursing care across shifts as part of a roster that includes public holidays.

Qualifications

• Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Demonstrated excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Current Acute Nursing experience in a hospital setting.
• Capacity to work a seven (7) day rotating roster including public holidays.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse provides safe, compassionate, person-centred care to patients and families of Sydney Children's Hospital Network.
• Acts as a role model by demonstrating behaviour and interacting with patients, their families and employees in a way that promotes NSW Health CORE values of Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment.
