Job summary

Columbia Aged Care is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to support our Oberon care teams. You will lead clinical care on shift, coordinate high-quality services, and build strong connections with residents and families, guided by compassionate practice.

You will mentor a multidisciplinary team, uphold the Aged Care Quality Standards, and collaborate with health professionals to deliver best outcomes while maintaining dignity and residents’ choices.

Qualifications

• Active AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum 1 year of aged care or similar health setting experience.
• Ability to lead a multidisciplinary team and provide mentorship.
• Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Current National Police Check and Working Rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Support, action, and coordinate high-quality, evidence-based care tailored to each resident’s needs.
• Empower residents to live active, meaningful, and independent lives daily.
• Build trust with residents’ families and legal representatives by exceeding care expectations.
• Step up as a Team Leader, role model, and trusted clinical resource for staff on shift.
• Supervise shift staff and resources to ensure a safe, smooth-running environment.
• Collaborate with health professionals to achieve positive resident outcomes.
