Mater Private Hospital Mackay is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Surgical/Rehab Ward on a permanent part-time basis. The role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care, supporting a multidisciplinary team, and maintaining clinical excellence in a busy ward.

You will hold current AHPRA registration, demonstrate excellent communication, and apply best-practice nursing to surgical patients, with opportunities for professional development and access to staff benefits at Queensland's

About the role

Mater Private Hospital Mackay has an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join their Surgical/Rehab Ward on a permanent part-time basis.

The Mater Private Hospital Mackay has been providing excellence in clinical and pastoral care to the people of Mackay and its surrounds since 1927. Our hospital is a modern 105-bed facility featuring five operating theatres, a fully equipped day surgery unit, and a wide range of specialist clinical services.

Salary range: $44.06 - $56.52 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!

What you’ll be doing

• Displaying the highest level of clinical standards for the ward.
• Implementing strategies to ensure that quality and risk management are integrated into service provision
• Maintaining current knowledge and skills to ensure continued professional growth
• Working with and supporting colleagues within a highly effective skilled team environment,
• Demonstrating clinical skills and knowledge in the care of surgical patients
