Job summary

Mater Private Hospital Mackay is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Perioperative Clinic on a permanent full-time basis. You will provide high-quality perioperative care across the patient journey, working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

About the role

Mater Private Hospital Mackay has multiple exciting opportunities available for an experienced Registered Nurse to work within our Perioperative Clinic on a permanent full-time basis.

$44.06 - $56.52 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!

What you’ll be doing

We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable Registered Nurse, who will be motivated by a challenging and fast paced environment.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

• Achieving optimal patient outcomes throughout the patient journey and continuum of care
• Demonstrating exceptional clinical expertise and knowledge of procedures and the management of patients seeking outstanding care
• Implementing strategies to ensure that quality and risk management are integrated into service provision
• Working collaboratively with the nursing team to provide exceptional care every time
• Maintaining current knowledge and skills to ensure continued professional growth

About you

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following criteria:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (without restrictions)
• Minimum of one-year post-graduate perioperative or Scrub-Scout experience.

• Demonstrated ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team

Please note all Candidates will need to have the ability to work a 24/7 rotating roster.
