GV Health’s Level 4 Special Care Nursery is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide specialised neonatal care and family-centred support. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to care for newborns with varied neonatal needs, contributing to high-quality care and ongoing professional development.

This permanent part-time role offers 64 hours per fortnight, with opportunities to advance clinical skills and participate in quality initiatives within a supportive regional health

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate clinician to join our Level 4 Special Care Nursery (SCN) team and help deliver high-quality, family-centred neonatal care.If you are an experienced neonatal nurse with a passion for providing specialised care to newborns and their families this is the job for you. You will be working within a multidisciplinary environment, providing expert clinical care to babies requiring specialised support while partnering with families during a critical and often emotional time. There are many opportunities ti increase your professional development.

As a Registered Nurse/Midwife in our Level 4 Special Care Nursery, you will:

• Deliver safe, evidence-based care to newborns requiring specialised neonatal support.
• Monitor and manage infants with prematurity, feeding difficulties, respiratory conditions, jaundice and other neonatal care needs.
• Collaborate closely with paediatricians, neonatal nurse practitioner, maternity teams and allied health professionals.
• Support and educate parents to confidently care for their baby both during admission and following discharge.
