Job summary

Sydney Local Health District invites applications for a Permanent Registered Nurse position at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. The role delivers patient-centred, evidence-informed care across a multidisciplinary team, with a focus on assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.

We require current AHPRA nursing registration, at least 2 years in an acute setting, and flexibility to rotate a 7-day roster including weekends, nights and public holidays.

Qualifications

• AHPRA nursing registration is required.
• Demonstrated understanding of evidence-informed practice and critical thinking.
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication within a multidisciplinary team.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an acute setting.
• Ability to work a rotating 7-day roster including weekends, nights and public holidays.

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the provision of patient centred; evidence informed nursing care that promotes identified health outcomes. We Are Looking For Someone Who Has…

• A current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
• An understanding of evidence informed practice and critical thinking.
• Effective interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills within a multidisciplinary team.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an acute setting.
• An ability to work a rotating 7-day roster, including weekends, night duty, public holidays and participation in an on-call roster.
