Job summary

Harbourside Port Stephens is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver compassionate, resident-centered care in a not-for-profit aged care setting near Port Stephens. You will lead and support Enrolled Nurses and Personal Care Assistants, guiding safe, effective care.

The role is part-time or casual with some evening shifts, offering a salary package with relocation accommodation options and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA RN Registration.
• Annual CPR certification.
• Ongoing CPD commitment.
• Experience supervising clinical staff is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, timely, and culturally appropriate nursing care based on individual care plans.
• Monitor and report changes in residents' health status to the Clinical Care Coordinator.
• Lead by example in health and safety practices and supervise a team, offering support and mentoring to nursing staff.
• Undertake clinical decision-making and interventions to enhance residents' health outcomes.
• Administer medications safely and in accordance with clinical standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care.
• Participate in quality activities to continually improve clinical practices.
• Ensure accurate and thorough clinical documentation.

About the Role:

As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver exceptional, personalised care to our residents, ensuring their health and well-being needs are met with professionalism and empathy. You will lead and support a team of Enrolled Nurses and Personal Care Assistants, guiding them in providing safe and effective care. We are looking for part-time or casual registered nurses. Ideally available for some shifts in the evening.

About You:
