Job summary

Juniper Aged Care is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our residential team at Gerdewoonem, WA. You will assess residents, plan and implement care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on rotating rosters.

The role is permanent full-time, 75 hours per fortnight, with unplanned leave coverage. Ideal candidates will hold AHPRA registration, have 2+ years aged care experience, and be capable of guiding staff in wound and diabetes care while maintaining high standards of

About The Role And Where You'll Be Working

Juniper Gerdewoonem is a small residential home featuring 35 rooms with individualised support through person-centered care approach. The facility has access to various communal areas, including multiple dining rooms, a spacious central activity room, and cozy lounge areas. The home has beautifully landscaped courtyards, gardens, and a fire pit. Gerdewoonem also collaborates with elders and local community members to foster a strong connection to culture and family.

As a Registered Nurse with Juniper, you will be responsible for assessing residents' needs, in conjunction with other healthcare professionals, and for the planning, implementation and evaluation of residents' care plans. Demonstrated experience in the mentoring and supervision of care staff and the awareness of AN-ACC required assessments is needed. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual passionate about this vocation to join the team. The ideal candidate should be available to work unplanned leave.

This is a permanent Full-time contract working 75 hours a fortnight on a rotating roster.
