The Skin Hospital in Darlinghurst, Sydney, seeks an experienced Perioperative Registered Nurse to join our dermatology-focused day surgery facility. This full-time role covers scrub/scout, anaesthetics and recovery within a multidisciplinary team, delivering safe, patient-centred perioperative care.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum three years’ post-registration nursing experience
• Perioperative nursing experience in Scrub/Scout, Anaesthetics and/or Recovery
• Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
• Strong clinical judgement and attention to detail
• A commitment to delivering outstanding patient care
• An interest in dermatology and skin cancer surgery

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Perioperative Registered Nurse to join our team at our Darlinghurst facility and contribute to delivering exceptional patient outcomes in a specialised and rewarding environment.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to utilise your perioperative nursing expertise within our accredited day surgery facility while expanding your knowledge in the highly specialised field of dermatology.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering safe, patient-centred care to individuals undergoing a wide range of dermatological surgical procedures.

Whilst we are looking for a full-time (4 x 9.5hour shifts per week) nurse, we are also open to applications from those looking for part-time hours.

Location

Our Darlinghurst facility is conveniently located close to public transport in the heart of Sydney. Operating hours are between 7:00am and 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, supporting a healthy work-life balance.
