Job summary

Harwell Home Care Pty Ltd is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver high‑quality clinical care in clients' homes across the Penrith area. You will assess, plan, and review care, administer medications, and coordinate with families and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.

Ideal candidates will hold an AHPRA RN registration, have a valid driving licence, and be willing to travel locally to provide in‑home care.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• A current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Current National Police Check, or willingness to obtain one.
• Must have unrestricted work rights in Australia.
• Experience in home care, aged care, community health, or hospital nursing.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision‑making skills.
• Commitment to holistic, person‑centred care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel locally to provide in‑home care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in accordance with care plans and clinical protocols.
• Conduct client assessments, develop care plans, and review them as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Manage wound care, catheter care, chronic disease monitoring, and post‑hospital support.
• Lead Enrolled Nurses and Personal Care Workers as required.
• Liaise with families, allied health professionals, and medical practitioners to ensure continuity of care.
• Document all care provided and observations in compliance with standards.
• Respond to changes in client condition with sound clinical judgement and timely escalation.
• Promote independence, dignity, and quality of life for each client.
• Support clients through palliative and end‑of‑life care with compassion and professionalism.

What You'll Be Doing
