Job summary

Healthcare Australia (HCA) seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Home Care team in South West Sydney on a casual basis, with potential for part-time permanent work (15 hours per week). You will travel between clients, delivering holistic clinical and personal care in clients' homes.

The role requires current AHPRA registration, First Aid and CPR certs, up-to-date vaccines, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to obtain a National Police Clearance.

Qualifications

• Must hold current Registered Nurse qualifications with AHPRA registration.
• Must have completed First Aid (HLTAID011) and Provide Basic Emergency Life Support (HLTAID010) incl. CPR (HLTAID009).
• Vaccinations up-to-date (COVID and Flu).
• Valid driver’s license with access to a reliable car and willingness to travel between appointments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical and personal care tailored to each client.
• Develop tailored care plans using clinical judgment.
• Provide wound care and assist with medical equipment (catheters, continence aids).
• Offer social and emotional support to help clients feel safe and connected.

HCA is on the lookout for a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Homecare team on a casual basis, with a potential for part-time permanent role (15 hours per week). This is a community-based role supporting our elderly customers in their own homes across South West Sydney. You will be required to travel between clients, ensuring that their care needs are met with compassion and professionalism. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing holistic care and supporting clients in their homes, specifically:

• Delivering clinical and personal care that meets each client's unique needs.
• Developing tailored care plans using your expert clinical judgment and compassion.
• Providing wound care, and supporting clients with medical equipment such as catheters and continence aids.
• Offering social and emotional support, helping clients feel safe, comfortable, and connected.

Let's talk about you!

To be successful in this role, you ideally have experience in Aged Care or Community Home Care, excellent communication skills; both verbal and written, and bring a genuine passion for providing care to older Australians and a commitment to helping them live independently at home. You will need to have the following to be considered:

• Registered Nurse Qualification with current AHPRA registration
• Valid and completion of courses: First Aid (HLTAID011) and Provide Basic Emergency Life Support (HLTAID010), including Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009)
• Up-to-date COVID vaccinations and Flu vaccine (or willingness to obtain).
• A current driver’s license, access to a reliable car with comprehensive insurance, and willingness to travel between appointments (paid travel).
• National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain one.
