Healthscope’s Norwest Private Hospital in Sydney’s North West seeks an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse. You’ll deliver evidence-based nursing care in a fast-paced ED, assess and plan patient care, and mentor ENs and AINs to support optimal outcomes.

You’ll join a collaborative team dedicated to patient-centered care, professional growth, and safety. An unrestricted AHPRA RN registration and postgraduate emergency nursing qualification are required.

Qualificações

• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Knowledge of ACQSHC National Standards.
• Ability to obtain Working With Children Check.
• Postgraduate qualification in Emergency or Critical Care Nursing.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, you will:

• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care in accordance with professional standards
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care outcomes
• Support, supervise and mentor Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs)
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve the best outcomes for patients
• Provide education and support to patients and their families throughout their care journey
• Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement for both patients and staff

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Strong clinical assessment, decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-focused care
• Understanding of ACQSHC National Standards
• Current Working With Children Check (or ability to obtain)
• Postgraduate qualification in Emergency Nursing or Critical Care Nursing
