Job summary

IPN Medical Centres in Queensland’s Morayfield region seeks an experienced practice nurse to deliver high-quality clinical nursing services to doctors and patients, including chronic disease management, triage, vaccinations, and wound care.

You will coordinate the treatment room, manage cold chain and sterilisation, and support recall and health assessments, with APNA registration and Best Practice software experience preferred. A caring, collaborative team environment awaits.

Qualifications

• 1 year of general practice experience preferred.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Caring and collaborative approach to patient care.
• Desirable: Medication and IV Therapy Administration (evidence required).
• Efficient use of Best Practice Medical Software.
• Professional development support, including APNA registration for permanent nurses.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality clinical nursing services to Doctors and patients, including chronic disease management, triage, vaccinations, wound care, pathology collection, health assessments, recall, and treatment room coordination.
• Oversee cold chain management and sterilisation.
• Support continuity of care and coordinate patient care plans.
• Participate in professional development and teamwork within a national support network.

About the role

Deliver quality clinical nursing services to Doctors and patients including chronic disease management, triage, vaccinations, wound care, pathology collection, health assessments, recall, coordination of the treatment room, cold chain management and sterilisation.

Skills & experience

Previous 1 year experience working in general practice (preferred)

Strong communication and time management skills

A caring and collaborative approach to patient care

Qualifications in Medication and Intravenous Therapy Administration desirable (evidence required if applicable)

EEN or RN AHPRA registration & able to use Best Practice Medical Software

Professional development support including free APNA registration (for Permanent nurses)
