Job summary

South West Healthcare in Warrnambool is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse Grade 2 to join our theatre team. You will provide high-quality perioperative nursing care in a busy operating theatre setting and work collaboratively with the surgical and nursing staff to deliver safe, person-centred care.

Based at Warrnambool Campus, the role offers opportunities for professional development and supervision within an experienced team, with a fixed-term contract until May 2027 and a pro-rata salary

Qualifications

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
• Well-developed clinical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills at all levels.
• Commitment to ongoing education and professional development is highly regarded.
• Postgraduate qualification in peri-operative nursing is desired but not essential.

• Salary Range: $86,580 to $107,510pro rata, plus superannuation

We are seeking enthusiastic and skilled Registered Nurses with a passion for perioperative care to join our supportive and highly capable theatre team.

Based in Warrnambool, our Operating Theatre service offers a diverse and fast-paced environment where you'll work alongside dedicated medical, nursing, and clinical professionals to deliver safe, high-quality care.

Our theatre suite includes:

• 3 Operating Theatres
• 7-bed Recovery Area

In this role, you'll contribute to positive patient outcomes by providing high-quality perioperative nursing care in a collaborative, patient-focused environment. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your perioperative skills while being supported by an experienced and welcoming team.
