Anglicare Sydney is seeking a compassionate Night Duty Registered Nurse for Carlingford House to provide safe, person-centred care to residents with diverse and complex needs. You will collaborate with residents, families and the multidisciplinary team to support quality of life and timely clinical escalation.

You will assess and update care plans, administer medications, maintain documentation and apply infection prevention practices while guiding the care team through shifts that require

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• Bachelor of Nursing or an equivalent recognised qualification.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance.
• Sound knowledge of nursing principles, safe resident care and clinical escalation.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.

As a Night Duty Registered Nurse at Carlingford House you will provide safe, compassionate clinical care for residents with diverse and complex needs. You will work closely with residents, families and the multidisciplinary team to identify changes early and support each resident's quality of life.

With empathy and resilience, you will:

What's required:

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA

What's preferred:

Clinical knowledge

You understand how to recognise and respond to changes in a resident's condition, including reduced oral intake, dehydration, weight loss, confusion or delirium, falls risk, reduced mobility, skin concerns and pressure injury risk.

You also understand the importance of monitoring and preventing issues included in the National Aged Care Mandatory Quality Indicator Program, such as falls, pressure injuries, unplanned weight loss, medication-related harm, infections, restrictive practices and changes in resident wellbeing.

Experience and development

Aged care or other relevant clinical experience is valued but not essential. We welcome nurses who bring a fresh perspective, a willingness to learn and a positive approach. You will be supported to build your knowledge and confidence within residential aged care.
