Job summary

Montefiore is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Independent Living Unit in Randwick on a permanent part-time basis. You will deliver concierge-style care, support emergency response as the Emergency Coordinator, and provide clinical assistance across residential care units.

Ideal candidates have at least 12 months post-graduation nursing experience in Australia, current AHPRA registration, ECO training, and strong communication alongside solid computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Manage Concierge operations during each shift, including responding to in person and telephone enquiries
• Act as Emergency Coordinator and respond to all emergency calls and alarm activations
• Audit and maintain emergency bag and equipment to meet requirements
• Monitor carpark security and entrance/exit controls
• Undertake security-based property inspections every 2 hours and record completion
• Promote the Choice, Dignity and Wellbeing of all residents and consumers
• Establish professional relationships with consumers, family and staff

M by Montefiore is looking to recruit an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to work in our Independent Living Unit in Randwick in a permanent part-time capacity. This is an essential position within the organisation and is an opportunity to provide quality concierge services, to act as the Emergency Coordinator and to provide clinical support to Montefiore’s residential care units.

Your ability to monitor compliance with security procedures and policies and your effective communication skills will be essential along with your clinical skills. You will be responsive by nature and have a service orientated, helpful and friendly but professional approach.

Some key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Manage Concierge operations during each shift, including responding to in person and telephone enquiries
• Act in the capacity of Emergency Coordinator and respond to and manage all emergency call and alarm activations
• Audit and maintain the contents of the emergency bag and equipment to ensure that these meet requirements
• Monitor carpark security and entrance and exit controls
• Undertake security-based property inspections every 2 hours and record as completed once all areas have been inspected
• Promoting the Choice, Dignity and Wellbeing of all residents and consumers
• Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with consumers, family members and staff
• Minimum of 12 months post-graduation experience working as a Registered Nurse in Australia
• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• ECO trained
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Intermediate level of computer literacy
