Sydney Local Health District seeks motivated Registered Nurses to provide patient-centred, evidence-based care in a supportive ICU environment. You will work within Concord Repatriation General Hospital, contributing to safe, high-quality nursing practice and continuous improvement.

Ideal candidates hold current AHPRA registration with ICU/acute care experience and strong assessment and critical-thinking abilities.

• Previous experience in an acute clinical setting, with intensive care experience.
• Demonstrated clinical assessment, critical thinking and prioritisation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centred, evidence-informed nursing care.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care with the multidisciplinary team.
• Develop clinical skills and contribute to continuous improvement in patient care.
• Support ICU nursing team and deliver high-quality care when it matters most.

About The Role

You will be based at Concord Repatriation General Hospital, which has provided outstanding healthcare for more than 70 years. Building on its proud heritage of caring for the veteran community, the hospital now delivers a broad range of specialist and general health services to the communities of Concord, Strathfield, Burwood and surrounding areas.

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the provision of patient centred; evidence informed nursing care that promotes identified health outcomes. The Registered Nurse will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team. You will have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills, work alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team, and contribute to continuous improvement and excellence in patient care.
