Job summary

Western Sydney Local Health District – Blacktown NSW is seeking a Registered Nurse to lead infection prevention and control across Blacktown and Mount Druitt Hospitals. You will support safer care for patients, families and the wider community while growing your clinical expertise in a specialist nursing environment.

This permanent full-time role focuses on managing infection prevention priorities, contributing to quality improvement and patient safety, and mentoring staff within a dedicated IPC

What you'll be doing
As a Registered Nurse, you will use your clinical knowledge, communication skills and professional judgement to support excellent patient outcomes and contribute to safe healthcare delivery.

Provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care that meets patient needs

Communicate with patients, families and healthcare teams to advocate for patient needs

Support the supervision and mentoring of staff and students

Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
