Job summary

NSW Health’s Hospital in the Home service, based at Mona Vale Hospital, is seeking senior registered nurses to assess and treat patients in their homes or at one of our four clinics.

You will apply exceptional assessment and decision-making skills, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality care. Opportunities may arise at Hornsby Hospital, RNSH or Northern Beaches Hospital.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse – Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and relevant nursing experience.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, carers and a diverse range of health and non-health care providers.
• Demonstrated ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team, with an emphasis on service delivery, patient safety, quality of care and team cohesion.

Responsibilities

Job description

Based at Mona Vale Hospital, Hospital in the Home manages acute patients in the community or virtually. HITH are looking for senior registered nurses to assess and treat patients in the comfort of their home or in one of our four clinics. We are interested in RNs with exceptional assessment skills and decision making ability. We are a district wide service and at times you may have to start at another worksite such as Hornsby Hospital, RNSH or Northern Beaches Hospital.

What you'll be doing
