Job summary

Southern NSW Local Health District is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (Division 1) to join the 9A general medical ward at Royal North Shore Hospital. The role offers permanent full-time and part-time options, with a remuneration range of $41.23–$57.88 per hour and a 38-hour week.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse - Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Current experience in an acute hospital environment.
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

Where you'll be working

Ward 9A is a challenging and rewarding 30 bed capacity medical ward with General Medicine, Endocrinology, Pain Management, and Immunology patients. You will be working within a multidisciplinary team focused on evidence-based patient centred care, health promotion and early intervention, to promote a safe discharge home or transfer to the appropriate post-acute hospital care.
What you'll be doing Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individual/s and the greater health care team to achieve quality patient care outcome.

• Registered Nurse - Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Current experience in an acute hospital environment.
