Job summary

Worongary Medical Centre on the Gold Coast is seeking an experienced Enrolled Nurse (EN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our busy GP practice. You will work alongside our current RN to support GPs in delivering high-quality patient care, including minor surgical procedures, wound care, women's health contraception, iron infusions, care planning and health assessments.

Key duties include child health checks and immunisations, care plans, triage, and recall management, with a focus on quality

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration is required.
• Current CPR certificate is required.
• GP clinic experience is preferred.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Enrolled Nurse (EN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our busy practice. Our services include minor surgical procedures, wound care, women's health contraception procedures, iron infusions, care planning, and health assessments.

Key Responsibilities

• Child health checks and immunisations
• Care plans and health assessments
• Surgical assistance, dressings, and wound care
• Spirometry, ECGs, ABPI measurements, and Holter application
• Results and recall management
• Triaging patients in person and over the phone
• Quality improvement initiatives
• Current AHPRA registration
• Current CPR certificate

Preferred Experience

• Care plans and review of care plans
• Health assessments
• Skin cancer surgery assisting
• Experience with Best Practice software
