Job summary

Moran Aged Care in Sydney NSW is seeking qualified Registered Nurses to join our Moran Engadine home team. You will provide high-quality nursing care, consult with residents and their families, and collaborate with the care team to meet changing clinical needs.

You will be mentored to develop your skills, with Monday to Friday AM or PM shifts available and above award base rates. This role offers supportive leadership and opportunities to grow within Moran Health Care Group.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
• Excellent communication with residents, families and staff.
• Ability to lead and supervise care staff.

Responsibilities

• Developing and evaluating individualised resident care plans and completing assessments.
• Providing clinical services such as wound management, medication management and palliative care.
• Liaising with medical and allied health professionals and residents’ family members.
• Work with the Clinical Leadership team on more complex clinical management.
• Supervising and supporting Personal Care Workers.

About this opportunity

We are currently seekingqualified Registered Nurses to join our Care team at ourMoran Engadine home. Above award rates $48 - $57 base per hour.

Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday AM Shifts

Reporting to the Care Manager, you will be providing quality nursing care and support to the changing clinical needs of the residents. This includes consulting with residents and their families, staff, management, and other allied health professionals.

Working with a wonderful team of dedicated people, your contribution will make adifference to our residents’ enjoyment of their life every day.

You will be backed and mentored to ensure you thrive in your role with us and to further develop your skills.

If you are a skilled, energetic, and dedicated Registered Nurse with the passion to improve our residents’ daily life, this role is for you.

We are looking for motivated individuals with acute clinical experience who enjoy working Morning or Afternoon shifts with availability to work Monday to Friday.

• Developing and evaluating individualised resident care plans and completing assessments

• Liaising with medical and allied health professionals and residents’ family members
• Work with the Clinical Leadership team with more complex clinical management

• Current Registration with AHPRA

• Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards
