Job summary

Moran Aged Care is seeking qualified Registered Nurses to join our Care team at Moran Engadine home in NSW, Australia. Above award rates apply, with base hourly pay between $48 and $57. Shifts are Monday to Friday, AM/PM, with mentoring and development opportunities.

You will deliver quality nursing care, consult with residents and families, and coordinate with a dedicated care team to meet evolving clinical needs.

Qualifications

• Current Registration with AHPRA is required.
• Caring and empathetic approach is essential.
• Ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Good assessment and prioritisation abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards is needed.
• Willingness to obtain a Police Check.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evaluate individualised resident care plans and complete assessments.
• Provide clinical services such as wound management, medication management and palliative care.
• Liaise with medical and allied health professionals and residents’ families.
• Collaborate with Clinical Leadership on more complex clinical management.
• Supervise and support Personal Care Workers.

About this opportunity

We are currently seeking qualified Registered Nurses to join our Care team at our Moran Engadine home. Above award rates $48 - $57 base per hour.

Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday AM Shifts

Reporting to the Care Manager, you will be providing quality nursing care and support to the changing clinical needs of the residents. This includes consulting with residents and their families, staff, management, and other allied health professionals.

Working with a wonderful team of dedicated people, your contribution will make a difference to our residents’ enjoyment of their life every day.

You will be backed and mentored to ensure you thrive in your role with us and to further develop your skills.

If you are a skilled, energetic, and dedicated Registered Nurse with the passion to improve our residents’ daily life, this role is for you.

We are looking for motivated individuals with acute clinical experience who enjoy working Morning or Afternoon shifts with availability to work Monday to Friday.

• Developing and evaluating individualised resident care plans and completing assessments

• Liaising with medical and allied health professionals and residents’ family members
• Work with the Clinical Leadership team with more complex clinical management
