Job summary

Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (NBMLHD) is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department at Blue Mountains District ANZAC Memorial Hospital. You will deliver high-quality, patient-centred care to a diverse population and work within a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team.

Applicants should be registered with AHPRA and have emergency or acute care experience, with the ability to adapt to rosters that include day, evening, or night shifts across all seven days.

What you will bring to the role
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse Division 1 with AHPRA.
  • Demonstrated experience and Clinical skill in Nursing as a Registered Nurse including completion of a New Graduate Registered Nurse program or equivalent experience working as a Registered Nurse.
  • Demonstrated capacity to provide effective Nursing care that is person centred, family inclusive and culturally sensitive to people accessing health services.
  • Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work.
  • Demonstrated effective communications written and verbal skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional development.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Ability to work a flexible roster, day evening or night shift across all days of the week according to the unit or team requirements.
