Job summary

Darling Downs Hospital & Health Service – Toowoomba QLD is seeking a Registered Nurse – Emergency to join our dynamic team, delivering timely, high-quality care in fast-paced settings.

You will apply evidence-based emergency nursing knowledge, collaborate with nurses, doctors and allied health professionals, and use sound clinical judgment to prioritise patient safety and outcomes.

This role supports mentorship, continuous improvement and strong community care across our expansive region.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
• Strong emergency nursing knowledge and contemporary clinical practice skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills that support safe, patient-centred care.
• Postgraduate qualifications relevant to emergency nursing and/or experience coaching or leading others in a clinical setting.
