Job summary

Ozcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for a casual position to support clients across the Toowoomba region. You will assess, plan and deliver comprehensive nursing care, working with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal client outcomes.

Responsibilities include initial assessments, care planning, medication administration, wound care, and chronic disease management as part of personalised care plans. A warm, flexible and patient-focused approach is essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Current Police Screening Certificate.
• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Current Queensland driver's licence.
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
• Proof of immunity to Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Varicella and Pertussis (Whooping Cough).

• Provision of excellent care and service to clients in line with their personalised care plans.
• Using a holistic approach, working within a multidisciplinary team, achieving the optimum care for clients.

Ozcare has a Casual opportunity available for Registered Nurses supporting our clients across the Toowoomba region.

Your Role

As a Registered Nurse you'll be looking after the most important people in our organisation - our clients. The nursing team care for all age groups within our community with a variety of nursing needs, including but not limited to complex wound care, palliative care, medication administration and chronic disease management. Your tasks will include:

• Initial assessment of client needs and implementation of ongoing care, co-ordination, case management and care planning
• Provision of excellent care and service to clients in line with their personalised care plans
• Using a holistic approach, working within a multidisciplinary team, achieving the optimum care for clients
• Liaison with and referral to other organisations as required provide for the client's needs
