Job summary

Most of the people who come to Antidote and Valour have already been through a healthcare system that rushed them, dismissed them, or handed them a referral and wished them luck.

Antidote Health exists for people navigating chronic pain, sleep disruption, anxiety, hormonal complexity, and long-term conditions who want medicinal cannabis and integrative care delivered properly — we're a telehealth clinic focused on providing greater access to Australians everyday, reducing the burdons to care natioanlly.

Valour Health exists specifically for Australian veterans: DVA-funded therapies for a cohort carrying chronic pain, pallative care indications and service related injury, delivered with the patience and rigour that complexity actually requires. A team of medical specialist who understand the unqiue natural of veteran's post service.

Different patients, same standard: nobody falls through the gap between booking an appointment and actually being seen. We're looking for a patient focused Nurse Coordinator to join the team who bridges the gap between patient and practitioner — the person who makes sure every patient arrives at their consult prepared, and leaves it genuinely supported.

What you'll do

• Pre-consult screening: run structured telehealth screening appointments — gathering medical history, current and past medications, symptom burden, and functional impact — so the treating practitioner walks into every consult with a complete clinical picture, not a blank slate
• Documentation and preparation: collect and organise referral letters, specialist reports, imaging, and pathology ahead of each appointment, and record it all accurately in the practice management system
• Triage: apply real clinical judgement within your AHPRA scope to work out urgency and pathway — including recognising when a patient needs to be escalated before they ever reach a consult
• Post-consult follow-up and education: check in after the consult, answer questions, explain treatment plans and what to expect, and catch early signs that something isn't working
• DVA coordination (Valour patients): screen veterans for DVA Medicinal Cannabis Framework eligibility, coordinate applications and advocating for patients
• Records: maintain accurate, contemporaneous clinical records across both clinic systems
• Monitoring and follow ups: maintaining engagement with patients proactively to support treatment management and planning

Your background and experience

• Current AHPRA registration as RN (preferred) or EN — active, unrestricted
• Minimum 2 years post-registration clinical experience
• Interest in or experience with alternative therapies, chronic pain, mental health, chronic disease management and general medicine
• Medical intake, screening and assessments
• Stong clinical record keeping and documenting
