Benetas, Colton Close, Glenroy (home to 89 residents), is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – Grade 2 for a casual position. You will bring at least 2 years of Australian RN experience, ideally in residential aged care, and hold current AHPRA registration.

You will provide resident-focused care, manage diabetes, wounds, medications, coordinate daily clinical care, document assessments, and support Enrolled Nurses and care staff.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience working as a Registered Nurse in Australia.
• Residential aged care experience highly regarded.
• Strong clinical skills across medication management, wound care, diabetes management, infection prevention, pain management and resident assessment.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse – Grade 2 to join our team at Colton Close in Glenroy, home to 89 residents.

This is a casual position, and we are looking for an RN with a minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a Registered Nurse in Australia, ideally within residential aged care.

Our Nurses deliver specialised, high-quality nursing care to older Victorians in our residential homes. In this role, you will:

About you

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse – Division 1
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working as a Registered Nurse in Australia
• Previous residential aged care experience highly regarded
• Strong clinical skills across medication management, wound care, diabetes management, infection prevention, pain management and resident assessment
• Sound understanding of the aged care legislative framework and relevant clinical requirements
• Strong clinical judgement and decision-making skills, with the ability to respond appropriately to changes in residents’ conditions
• Confidence providing guidance and support to care staff and Enrolled Nurses
• High level of accountability for your own work
• Collaborative, respectful and person-centred approach
• Ability to build genuine relationships with residents, families and colleagues
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance ID or the ability to obtain one
• Flexibility to work a range of casual shifts, including AM, PM, nights and weekends as required
