Benetas is seeking an Enrolled Nurse to join Colton Close in Glenroy, a home with 89 residents. This casual role requires a minimum of 2 years’ EN experience in residential aged care.

You will deliver high-quality nursing care as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, applying clinical skills, respecting dignity, and documenting care. Benetas offers flexible shifts and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current Division 2 nursing registration with AHRPA.
• Experience creating genuine connections with clients, families and team members.
• Understanding of aged care legislation, including safe medication administration.
• Empathy, dignity and collaborative approach when working with residents and staff.
• Clinical skills across tissue viability, continence, dementia/behaviour, infection control; NDIS Screening clearance or ability to obtain.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Enrolled Nurse to join our team at Colton Close in Glenroy, home to 89 residents.

This is a casual position, and we are looking for an EN with a minimum of 2 years’ experience working as an Enrolled Nurse, ideally within residential aged care.

Our Nurses deliver specialised, high-quality nursing care to older Victorians in our residential homes. Each day, they have the opportunity to apply their clinical skills in a meaningful way, contribute to positive resident outcomes and work as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team.

In this role, you will:

• Apply clinical skills and up to date knowledge of the aging process to residents within the home
• Be responsive to resident's care through tailoring holistic care to meet individual needs
• Respect and promote dignity, privacy and confidentiality of each resident at all times
• Systematically plan, implement and evaluate care, and oversee accurate and timely documentation
• Spend time with the residents to connect, share stories and show empathy

About you

• Current Division 2 nursing registration with AHRPA
• Experience creating genuine connections with clients and families and team members
• Understanding of the aged care legislative framework and requirements, including safe medication administration
• The ability to show empathy and treat others with dignity and respect, and a collaborative approach to working with residents, staff, colleagues and other key stakeholders
• Demonstrate the application of clinical skills in areas such as tissue viability, continence management, dementia/behaviour management, infection control, amongst others
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance ID or ability to obtain
