Job summary

Anglicare Sydney is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide safe, compassionate clinical care for residents with diverse and complex needs. You will work with residents, families and a multidisciplinary team to identify changes early and support quality of life.

Responsibilities include assessing and updating care plans, administering medications, recognizing deterioration, and applying infection prevention practices. AHPRA RN registration and Bachelor of Nursing are required.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• Bachelor of Nursing or an equivalent recognised qualification.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance.
• Sound knowledge of nursing principles, safe resident care and clinical escalation.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Current first aid certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assess residents and develop, implement and review individual care plans.
• Administer medications and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Recognise and upscale resident deterioration, incidents and near misses.
• Apply infection prevention and control practices, including outbreak precautions.
• Support care team members to deliver safe, person-centred care.
