Qualifications

• Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse is essential.
• Experience in aged care is preferred.
• Experience in a multidisciplinary team in aged care.
• Knowledge of accreditation standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership with the Clinical Manager to ensure safe and effective care.
• Plan and communicate care interventions based on comprehensive assessments.
• Ensure outcomes align with care plans and safe working practices.
• Deliver person-centered care that promotes independence and dignity.
• Monitor patients and report changes; take appropriate actions.
• Implement initiatives to improve quality of care and life.
• Advocate for patients to support informed choices.
• Assist with data collection for funding claims.
• Coordinate handover at shift changes.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect for patients.
• Ensure safe medication management and infection control.
