Job summary

Benetas is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for our St Lawrence Court, Kangaroo Flat, a home to 50 residents in Kangaroo Flat, Victoria. Our nurses deliver high quality care to older Victorians in a supportive, respectful environment where expertise and empathy are valued.

You will apply your nursing skills to manage diabetes, wounds and medications, maintain documentation, support the care team, and spend time with residents to build trusting relationships and positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• RN Registration with AHPRA as Division 1.
• NDIS Screening Clearance or ability to obtain.
• Empathy and patient-centred care.
• Teamwork and collaboration with care staff.

Responsibilities

• Providing resident-focused care including management of diabetes, wounds, infections, pain and medications.
• Maintaining documentation; completing resident assessments, incident investigations and related care documents.
• Overseeing the administration of day-to-day clinical tasks and monitoring residents; escalate changes as required.
• Spend time with residents to connect, share stories and show empathy.
• Provide guidance and support to the care team, including Personal Care workers and Enrolled Nurses.
