Job summary

Ramsay Health Care in Sydney is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our busy ED on a permanent, part-time basis. You will deliver rapid assessments, continuous monitoring and life-saving interventions in a high-pressure environment.

As a valued member of our clinical team, you will plan, evaluate and deliver high-quality patient care with support from the Nurse Unit Manager and shift leaders, while embracing professional growth and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Current registration with AHPRA (Registered Nurses).
• Ability to work across all models of care within the Emergency Department.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Flexibility to work a 7-day rotating roster.
• Commitment to teamwork, patient safety, and professional growth.
• Ability to work as a Team Leader in the Emergency Department (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Provide rapid assessments, continuous monitoring and life-saving interventions for acute illnesses or traumatic injuries in a high-pressure environment.
• Plan, evaluate and deliver high-quality patient care with guidance from Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Clinical Nurse Educator and Shift Leaders.
