Job summary

For Purpose Aged Care is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 6-month max-term contract at Romsey Community Aged Care. The role covers AM & PM shifts, including some medication rounds, with a supportive team culture and ongoing professional growth opportunities.

You will assess, plan and deliver high-quality, person-centred care, while promoting education and collaborating with a dedicated healthcare team. A healthy work-life balance and compassionate environment are emphasised.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted AHPRA RN registration.
• Experience in aged care preferred.

Registered Nurse - 6 month Max term contract

We are looking for an experienced RN to join our team on a 6-month Max term contract we have AM & PM shifts available (some are med shifts)

Skills & Requirements for the Role:

To be considered for this role, we are looking for:

• An understanding, empathy, appreciation and the ability to promote the values and ethos of For Purpose Aged Care
• Current unrestricted registration with AHPRA
• Demonstrated aged care experience preferred
• The ability to work as part of a team and promote education/leadership in aged care
• Understanding of and commitment to continuous quality improvement
• Experience in assessments and developing care plans
• Assess, plan and implement client care within your scope
• Consider physical, social and psychological requirements
• Create and update care plans to reflect developing needs of our residents
• An understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards
• Demonstrated organisational and time management skills
• Demonstrated well developed computer and documentation skills
• Excellent communication and clinical problem-solving skills
• Confidence in managing your time effectively, including an ability to work autonomously.
• Current Police check or willing to apply for one & Australian unrestricted work rights
