Job summary

BlueCare Mt Louisa Aged Care Facility is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide person-centred care to residents. The role involves maintaining a safe environment and applying clinical skills to enhance quality of life through activities.

Key duties include assessing and planning care, updating plans as needs evolve, meeting quality standards, and working with a multidisciplinary team to optimise outcomes. Shift patterns include AM, PM, and ND, with every second weekend required.

Qualifications

• Current nursing registration with AHPRA.
• Experience providing person-centred care in aged care or similar.
• Ability to work AM/PM/ND shifts and weekends as required.

Employment Term:

Part time position (6 shifts a fortnight) Must be available to work AM (6am to 2:30pm) PM (2pm to 10:30pm) and ND shifts (10pm to 6:30am) including every second weekend.

About the role:

As aRegistered Nurseprovide person-centred care to your residents, ensuring a safe environment within the facility and applying your clinical skills to improving their quality of life through activities that include:

• Assess, plan and implement client care within your scope
• Consider physical, social and psychological requirements
• Create and update care plans to reflect developing needs
• Ensure clinical quality compliance standards are met
• Work collaboratively with other multi-disciplinary team members

Role requirements:

• Excellent communication and clinical problem-solving skills
• Confidence in managing your time effectively, including an ability to work autonomously
• NDIS Workers Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain
• Full, unrestricted AHPRA registration and unlimited work entitlements
• Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies
